Patricia Starr

I am fascinated with watercolor’s fluidity, luminosity, and alchemical dance between the elements of earth, air, wood, and water.

Patricia’s formal arts training started with an Education/Fine Arts Degree and continued with studies at the Burnley School of Graphic Arts in Seattle. From 1989 to 1994 she received private instruction with watercolorist Jackie Brooks NWWS as well as a variety of workshops by many well known local and national watercolorists. Her work has been accepted in juried shows. She received the Northwest Watercolor Society’s First Place Award in the 2006 Annual Members Exhibition.
