News for 2014!
Blue Whole Gallery artist Karen Rozbicki Stringer’s photograph “Nothing Endures But Change” has been selected to be included in Art Port Townsend/”Expressions Northwest,” the Northwind Arts Center and Port Townsend Arts Commission’s 16th Annual Juried Art Exhibition. It will be held August 1-31, 2014. Juror Greg Robinson, Executive Director and Curator of Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, selected 77 pieces from 313 works of art submitted from artists residing in the Northwest.
Brian Buntain also has been juried into Art Port Townsend ” Expressions Northwest!

Northwind Arts Center is celebrating all Creatures Great and Small! 20 percent of sale proceeds will go to Center Valley Rescue Ranch who is committed to providing safe harbor and rehabilitation for unwanted, injured or abandoned animals.

Deb Sterk received a merit award at the annual Sequim Arts Juried show.
Mary Franchini is published in the Palette Magazine in an article about whimsey in art. She feels that she is in very good company in the article by Martha Wakefield.

Peninsula Plein Air Competition

Deb Sterk received the Sponsors Award for the painting called “Retreat” . She also had 2 other paintings selected for the show
Ryoko Toyama had 2 pieces selected for the show.
Karen Rozbicki Stringer: This photograph, “Wind and Surf” was juried into “Expressions Northwest,” the 15th annual Art Port Townsend Juried Art Show. The exhibit will take place August 2-25 at the Northwind Arts Center in Port Townsend.
rPam Walker:This is my pigment transfer onto stone paper that will be in the Expressions Northwest show in Port Townsend. The show runs through August.
Pam Walker will be speaker for the May 23, Sequim Arts Meeting at St Luke’s Church in Sequim. Public welcome. Come at 9:30 for goodies and coffee. Meeting starts at 10:00 and Pam’s demo will be around 10:45.
