Nature, travel and Western themed artwork in Acrylic and Pyrography (woodburning)
I am a lifelong creative expressing my fascination and love of Nature, Travel and Native and Western culture through the mediums of acrylics and pyrography primarily ( I am also always exploring other mediums such as watercolor/gouache, photography, graphite and colored pencils).
Discouraged in my youth from pursuing art as a career, I nevertheless consistently produced artwork as a hobby and occasional side income until I retired from a 23 year career in nursing. My art is now my third act, finally allowing myself to identify as “Artist”. Finally rediscovering color and joy and light.
