On April 18 th from 11am to 12:30pm, the public is invited to attend a free demonstration by jewelry artists Laura Moore and Kathy Schreiner. Laura and Kathy will be demonstrating how to use silver metal clay when making jewelry. They will be demonstrating forming, drying, finishing, firing, and polishing a piece of silver clay to be used in a pendant. Both artists use silver clay in their jewelry, but their pieces are very different. Laura will demonstrate how to make a botanical mold to use with the clay, and Kathy will show how she adds that special sparkle to her pieces.
The demonstration is free and open to the public. Blue Whole Gallery is located at 129 W. Washington St. and is open daily Monday through Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sundays 11am to 3pm.
