On March 11 from 2–3 pm, the Blue Whole Gallery welcomes the Olympic Peninsula Authors for an afternoon of readings, reflection, and connection during our latest Writers Read event.
The theme for this gathering is recipes—not just the kind you find in a cookbook, but the personal formulas we all rely on to keep ourselves grounded and moving forward. Is it comfort food shared at a crowded table? A quiet walk in the woods? The exhilaration of a fast car on an open road? Or a joy-filled day spent with the littles in your life?
This will be an afternoon with moments that are tender, funny, thoughtful, and deeply relatable – pieces that remind us how creativity and routine, memory and imagination, all play a role in helping us carry on. This Writers Read event is free and the public is always welcome.
The Blue Whole Gallery hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Saturday, and Sundays 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at 129 W. Washington St. in Sequim.
