Pilgrimage Theme for November 11 Writers Read

This November, the Olympic Peninsula Authors invite you to explore the theme “Pilgrimage” at Writers Read, our monthly gathering celebrating the power of stories, memories, and the written word.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the theme offers many possibilities. Perhaps you have a literal Thanksgiving tale to share—a memorable family gathering, a journey to be with loved ones, or an unexpected adventure along the way. Or perhaps your pilgrimage has been more personal: a journey through a challenging time, a change in attitude, a newfound appreciation for someone or something, or a discovery that changed your perspective.

Not every pilgrimage requires a suitcase or a map. Sometimes the most meaningful journeys happen within us. They can lead us toward gratitude, forgiveness, understanding, or a fresh appreciation for the people and places that shape our lives.

Whether your story is heartfelt, humorous, surprising, or thought-provoking, we invite you to share it with us. And if you would rather sit back and listen, you are just as welcome. Writers Read is an opportunity to enjoy the creativity, experiences, and perspectives of our local writing community in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Join the Olympic Peninsula Authors for an afternoon of storytelling, inspiration, and connection.
