Mixed Media- Primarily Wood and Acrylic
Local Barns, Cabins, and Historical Buildings

As a self taught artist (with a heavy influence from YouTube), I’ve really found joy in making scale-model dioramas. Creating a scene, whether it’s from a movie, an image or my imagination, intrigues me. “How could I make this, what could I use to build that, etc.?” The process is just as exciting, if not more than the final result. Only problem with dioramas is they take so much table/shelf space. So, I started tinkering with shadowboxes.
What started as a gift idea for my sister, a shadowbox art work of her barn, quickly snowballed into me re-creating other local barns and historic buildings around Sequim and Port Angeles. Before I knew it, I had a collection. Now, I’d like to share my collection with you.
