If you are a fan of storytelling, then you won’t want to miss the upcoming Writers Read event on Wednesday, March 12th from 2-3pm at the Blue Whole Gallery, 129 W. Washington St.
Unlike typical readings, where writers have only a few minutes to showcase their work, this prose reading event allows for a more in-depth experience. Writers will be sharing short stories that can last up to ten minutes. This extended reading opens the door for a ranges of genres, from flash fiction that packs a punch in just a few words, to memoir that brings personal histories to life, and fantasy that transports listeners to otherworldly realms. It’s a chance to hear a story in the way it was meant to be told – through the voice of its creator.
Mark your calendar, grab a seat, and prepare to be transported by our storytellers. We can’t wait to see you at the Blue Whole Gallery for an afternoon of unforgettable tales.
This Writers Read event is free and the public is welcome. The Blue Whole Gallery hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Saturday. For more information, visit bluewholegallery.com
