Blue Whole Gallery gourd artist, Jane Smith, will be providing a free demonstration on Friday, April 25th from 1-3pm on the use of pine needles as decorations for gourds. Jane will demonstrate several techniques used in the process of gourd decoration. She will begin with gourd preparation and move to pine needle coiling.
Along the way, she will demonstrate how to add more needles and beads before completing the gourd. Each attendee will receive a small prepared gourd and instructions to take home. Jane has done several demonstrations at the Blue Whole Gallery which are always lively and fun for all who attend.
The Blue Whole Gallery is located at 129 West Washington St. Sequim. No reservation is required, just come and have fun.
