On Wednesday, September 10, from 2–3 p.m., the Blue Whole Gallery will be filled with the sound of stories, as the Olympic Peninsula Authors present their next Writers Read event.
This month’s theme, “Try to Remember,” invites readers to explore the many forms memory can take — a cherished moment, a forgotten place, an autumn adventure, a bittersweet turning point, or a single person or event that has never faded from view.
Each reading will offer a unique reflection on the way memories shape, sustain, and surprise us. Listeners can expect an afternoon of prose and poetry that is both personal and universal, stirring the quiet corners of their own recollections. This Writers Read event is free and the public is always welcome. The Blue Whole Gallery hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, visit our website bluewholegallery.com or come to the gallery at 129 W. Washington St. in Sequim.
