The Olympic Peninsula Authors invite the public to join them for the next Writers Read event, taking place Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 2–3 p.m. at the Blue Whole Gallery. The theme will be Works You Love. Instead of sharing our own writing, we will celebrate the words of others and the powerful ways they have shaped us.
Everyone is welcome. You don’t have to be a writer to participate—just bring a passage that has stayed with you, moved you, or shifted something inside you. It might be a poem that opened your eyes, a line from a play that softened your heart, or an excerpt from a favorite book that offered new understanding. (Readings should be no longer than five minutes, so please save the full novels for another day!)
Join us as we gather to share the writings that have been true gifts in our lives. Whether you’re reading or simply listening, we hope you’ll be part of this hour of inspiration, reflection, and community at the Blue Whole Gallery.
This Writers Read event is free and the public is always welcome. The Blue Whole Gallery hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, visit our website bluewholegallery.com or come to the gallery at 129 W. Washington St. in Sequim.
