The Blue Whole Gallery is proud to celebrate Abbie White as our August Student of the Month—a dedicated, curious, and creative individual whose journey reflects both resilience and a love of lifelong learning.
Though Abbie was born in Seattle, her formative years were shaped by life in Kansas. She spent most of her adult life in the Midwest gaining an appreciation for the scenic beauty of Kansas. In 2023, Abbie made a bold decision to return to her roots, moving halfway across the country to the Pacific Northwest—the place of her birth.
Since relocating, Abbie has poured her energy into expanding her education and diving deeply into her creative passions. Whether she’s studying new techniques, exploring the natural beauty of the Olympic Peninsula, or experimenting with materials in the studio, her work reflects a thoughtful, hands-on approach and a quiet determination to grow as an artist.
Abbie’s art work is on display throughout the month of August at Blue Whole Gallery, located at 129 W. Washington St. in Sequim, WA. A The public is invited to view her pieces and attend the First Friday Art Walk on August 1st from 5 to 8 p.m.
