The Blue Whole Gallery is delighted to welcome three new artists this December, each bringing a unique approach and creative voice to our cooperative. Working across a range of mediums, these artists expand the gallery’s offerings while deepening its connection to craft, place, and imagination.

Michael Clark is a mixed media artist specializing in finely detailed scale-model dioramas of local barns, cabins, and historical buildings. Inspired by the architecture and history of the Olympic Peninsula, Clark’s work captures the character and quiet stories held within these familiar structures, preserving a sense of regional heritage through meticulous craftsmanship.

Nico Mione works with ceramics and mixed media sculpture, creating tactile, dimensional pieces that explore form, texture, and material relationships. Her sculptural work invites close viewing and reflects a thoughtful balance between process and expression.

Jandi Small is an oil painter whose work blends reality and imagination, drawing viewers into dreamlike worlds where humans and oversized animals share familiar, often rural settings. Her paintings evoke a sense of narrative and wonder, encouraging viewers to linger and interpret the stories unfolding within each scene.
We invite you to visit the gallery this December to welcome these three artists and experience the creativity they bring to the Blue Whole Gallery.
