April Student of the Month: Galaxy Murray

At Blue Whole Gallery, we’re always inspired by the emerging artists in our community, and this month we’re delighted to feature Galaxy Murray as our April Student of the Month.

Galaxy is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and musician from Sequim, Washington. Her creative journey began early, shaped by a childhood spent moving between the Pacific Northwest and the countryside of Virginia. She is currently continuing her artistic education at Peninsula College, where she is expanding both her skills and her voice.

As she describes, “I create drawings and paintings around inspiration in gothic and romantic influences. I hope to convey classical beauty and emotion within my art. I am enjoying learning to develop my own style while experimenting with different mediums and methods.”

Looking ahead, Galaxy hopes to build a career in a creative field where she can share her artistic vision with others. Based on the passion and dedication she’s already demonstrating, we have no doubt she’s on a meaningful path.

We invite you to stop by Blue Whole Gallery during the month of April to experience Galaxy Murray’s work in person and join us in celebrating this talented young artist.
